An initiative founded through the vision of Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church, the Brookland Community Project addresses critical gaps in housing, workforce development, education, and wellness through integrated, community-centered programming.

The DJ Jones Community Gala is a semiformal evening of elegance, fellowship, and purpose, bringing the community together to celebrate philanthropy and lasting impact. Guests will enjoy an elevated experience filled with entertainment, meaningful connections, and fundraising efforts in support of Jones' home church, Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church's Brookland Community Project.

Who is DJ Jones?
DJ Jones, a Greenville native, graduated from Wren High School in 2013. Jones was drafted in 2017 by the San Francisco 49ers. 9 years later, DJ is now a starting nose tackle and the captain of the defensive line of the Denver Broncos.
DJ Jones has hosted 2 youth football camps in Greenville and continues to give back to the community.

About The DJ Jones Community Gala
The DJ Jones Community Gala was created to highlight the power of leadership, service, and community transformation through the philanthropic efforts of DJ Jones and Pastor Curtis Johnson. Both men have demonstrated a strong commitment to uplifting others through initiatives that create real opportunities for families and individuals. Their shared vision is rooted in faith, service, and building stronger communities for future generations.
Through the DJ Jones Foundation, DJ Jones has worked to give back through charitable outreach, youth support, and programs that encourage growth and empowerment. Pastor Curtis Johnson has led impactful community efforts through Impact 360, Valley Brook Baptist Church’s nonprofit organization. Their Brookland Community Project focuses on outreach, development, and addressing the community's practical needs. Together, these organizations represent a commitment to creating change through action, making the gala not only a celebration but a direct investment in community progress.
